Underdog Training Cancellation & Refund Policies

Public Holidays

Where a Group Obedience or Puppy Pre School Course runs over a public holiday or public holiday weekend, your class will not run and will instead run the following week. This means that in such instances, your 4 weeks of training will be run over a 5 week period. Please ensure you carefully read your confirmation email for further information regarding public holidays and Underdog Training classes or consultations.

Weather Policies for Agility Classes

HOT WEATHER: Where an Agility class is scheduled to take place with a start time after 11am, on a day forecasted to be 36 degrees or higher, class will be cancelled. If this occurs, all affected participants will be offered a place in a future class in the following two months. Refunds are not available for adverse weather events.

WET WEATHER: If, at 5pm the Friday prior to your class, the weather forecast on the www.bom.gov.au website indicates there is a 50% or more chance of MORE than 0-2mm of rain, agility classes will be cancelled and your payment will be rolled over automatically to a class in the following two months. Refunds are not available for adverse weather events.

Weather Policies for OUTDOOR Group Obedience Classes

HOT WEATHER: Where a Group Obedience class is scheduled to take place outside with a start time after 11am, on a day forecasted to be 36 degrees or higher, class will be cancelled UNLESS the forecast indicates a cool change will move through prior to the class start time. If this occurs, all affected participants will be offered a make-up class in a future course. Refunds are not available for adverse weather events.

WET WEATHER: Group Obedience classes run in all wet weather with the exception of thunderstorms occurring at the time of class, at the class location. Where a thunderstorm starts during a class, an Underdog trainer may call off a class to ensure the safety of all participants. If this occurs, all affected participants will be offered a make up class in a future course. Refunds are not available for adverse weather events.

Refund and Late Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees of 75% apply for late cancellations where we are unable to fill your position in a group class of any type. Full fees are payable for cancellations of Private Training services of any type with less than 48 hours’ notice (this does not apply if contagious illness is the reason for your cancellation). Due to the nature of dog training
and the variable nature of animals, we do not offer guarantees of any kind and change of mind refunds are not available.

COVID-19 Update:

As Melbourne moves through an easing of restrictions, we are permitted to operate many of our services in a limited capacity. We encourage you  to enquire about training for your dog but ask for your patience as we work through our waitlists and set new dates for classes. We look forward to being of assistance to you and your dog as soon as we are able to.
